Custom Tailored Programmes

About Us
The Primary Health Care Education and Training Trust is a non governmental and non profit making organization whose activities are focused on augmenting other national efforts in strengthening Zambia's human and organizational capacity in the provision of quality HIV and AIDS related services in the country.

Established in March 2007, the PHC-ETT conducts targeted and multidisciplinary education and training programmes for health and human service providers to help keep pace with rapid advances in science, policy and program development in the provision of HIV and AIDS related services.

We work with community based service providers, public and private sector service delivery organizations, civic and non governmental organizations to promote activities that increase the human and institutional capacity of organizations to provide quality HIV and AIDS prevention care and support services in the country.

Our range of activities are aimed at integrating the latest evidence into the management of HIV and AIDS related programmes, and to promote new and quality improvement approaches to service delivery by improving the skills and management capacities of programme managers, nurses, social workers, service delivery personnel and volunteers and those of other professionals already working and or planning to work in HIV/AIDS related sectors in Zambia.

These services are taken to ensure that those living with HIV are diagnosed early, treated with respect, dignity, and justice, and receive the highest standards of care and to protect and to promote the human Rights of people and that of orphans and other vulnerable children living with and or affected by HIV and AIDS.
