A well developed and consistent M&E plan can provide unique information about the performance of an HIV and AIDS workplace policy, programs and activities. It can identify what works, what does not, and the reasons why. M&E also provides information about the performance of managers and their staff. And it provides information on the performance of the support given to a workplace initiative. In this three days non residential course we aim at strengthening the capacity of organisations to develope a consitent and effective workplace M&E plan which will enhance the reporting and management of workplace HIV and AIDS interventions. The course programme is anchored in three core modules: Introduction to M&E; Developing M&E work plans, collecting, analyzing and using monitoring & evaluation data for programme reporting and management. At the end of the course, participants will be expected to be able to: -design and implement an HIV and AIDS workplace M&E plan -Identify the key elements needed to make your M&E system work. -Practice using the log frame approach as an active tool for M&E. -Select and make use of relevant SMART indicators. -Learn to gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative information, and communicate it effectively. -Identify and address key challenges faced by M&E practitioners. The course is designed for those that provide oversight and leadership of workplace interventions, Human Resource Managers, HIV and AIDS Workplace Focal Point Persons, Clinical officers, HIV and AIDS Programme Managers, Peer Educators, and including workplace Union and Labor Representatives. As in all our previous courses, we offer a high quality training service and our facilitators are among the best in their fields of specialization.
